Manual Handling Training

Manual Handling Training

Manual handling is one of the most common causes of injury at work and causes over a third of all workplace injuries which include work related Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) such as upper and lower limb pain/disorders, joint and repetitive strain injuries.

Section 2 of the Health & Safety at Work Act says that you need to give your staff manual handling training.

Developed by our Health and Safety professionals, this half day manual handling course is suitable for all levels of employees who may undertake manual handling operations and includes legislation, the transporting of a load of items by lifting, putting down, pushing, pulling, carrying or moving thereof by hand or by bodily force.
